I always wanted to play around with this illustration some more. I still enjoy the old one as much as the new one. The new one with the green background has a fresh feel to it. Enjoy!

Meet Foxy and Verde!
I have been promising a painting for sometime and I have FINALLY finished it! Its a continuation of my map paintings. I really love how this one turned out:

Andrew and I took our good friend Evan home with us for thanksgiving break. We showed him our freezing home and took him to all the local spots. Heres some snapshots of our weekend:
“Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I answer all my children’s letters — sometimes very hastily — but this one I lingered over. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it.”
I drew this for my good friend Evan who had a birthday earlier this week. He is now the proud owner of the original pen drawing and then I spiced it up a bit with paint tool in photoshop:
